Getting a list of backlinks for a particular URL is something we do quite a lot. As Google limits the results it displays using it's 'link:' tool, we often turn to Yahoo's Site Explorer. However, even this proves quite frustrating sometimes as you can only export individual pages to a spreadsheet - which means you have to append each page to the previous ones (and so on and so on!).
To combat this we've tried various free tools (including the wonderful but extremely unstable BackLink Analyser), but eventually we got round to writing our own little PHP script to do the job for us. If you'd like to download it, get it here.
